Drywall, framing, insulation & CMU takeoff service

Drywall takeoff services,
back in 24 hours.

Email us the PDF plan set you're bidding. Our software reads every wall, a person checks the result against the drawings, and you get studs, track, drywall sheets and insulation per wall type, each number tied to the sheet it came from.

How it works

How does a drywall takeoff service work?

01

Email the PDF

Send the digital plan set you're bidding to support@readmyblueprint.com. Tell us which trades you want counted.

02

We run and check it

The software measures every wall against the plan's own wall types. A person checks new vs. existing walls and anything the software flagged.

03

Counts back in 24 hours

A spreadsheet of studs, track, sheets and insulation by wall type and sheet, ready to price. Anything the plans don't define is listed for you to confirm.

The rest were flagged for review instead of guessed. You check the flagged walls, not the whole set.

Questions estimators ask

What do you need before sending a plan set?

What does "first plan set free" mean?

Your first full plan set is on us. No card and no contract. If it doesn't save you time, you've lost nothing.

How fast do I get the takeoff back?

Within 24 hours of receiving the plan set, usually sooner. If the drawings are missing a wall-type schedule, we'll tell you what we need.

Do you price the job?

No. You get quantities only, so you can apply your own material and labor pricing.

What do I need to send?

A digital (vector) PDF plan set, the kind architects export. Scanned paper sets can work, but the counts are best on digital PDFs.

Which trades does it count?

Metal and wood studs and track, drywall sheets, insulation and CMU block, by wall type.

How do I know the numbers are right?

Every quantity links back to the wall and the sheet it came from, and anything the software isn't sure about is flagged for you to confirm.
