Batt and board SF by wall type and R-value, with every count traced to the wall it came from. Your first plan set is free, no card needed.
Updated October 2026

Every insulated wall is measured directly from the vector geometry in your plan set — length and height, calibrated to the sheet's own printed scale.
Each wall's assembly is cross-referenced against your wall-type legend to identify the insulation type and R-value actually specified — batt, blown, or rigid — rather than assuming one default for the whole plan set.
Wall area converts into square footage of coverage needed per assembly, grouped by insulation type and labeled matched, ambiguous, or needs confirmation. Bag or roll count depends on the specific product's coverage rating, which you apply at bid time.
No single blended "insulation" line — each wall type and R-value gets its own row.
Part of never presenting a guess as a measurement is telling you plainly where the line sits.

Each insulated wall is measured from the plan's vector geometry, matched to the insulation type and R-value on your wall-type legend, then converted to square feet of coverage per assembly. On our Freeport Square test set (21 pages), 68.9% of walls auto-matched and 99.8% resolved after one "Confirm all". That is one test set, so uncertain walls are flagged for you to confirm.
No. It gives square feet of coverage; converting to bags or rolls depends on the product's coverage rating, which you apply at bid time. Door and window openings are not automatically deducted, and continuous exterior insulation is only counted when the legend calls it out.
